Funny!!! well, I have a son who has hearing loss, but refused to accept as he is HOH. I can’t help hoping that he would marry a deaf or CODA girl!!
Bravo, Bravo, Brave “Tomboy” Terp! I would love to have you to do lotsa work with me! I also was, am and always will be Tomboy Teacher Aide at high school! Now, no longer work cuz of Gov’t cuts – 85% of Teacher Aide laid off. I love to work – support Teens learn processing in anything – woodshop, drama, etc. Plus do other skills as artist on Glow Stars – sooooo cool! Wish, I am hearing terp so would never have “cut off” work! Sigh! Bravo, Girl!
Cute story!
great story!
my brother is only coda in my family
My professor at Gallaudet University told us a story about this hearing man, Bob (not real name) went to see him in his office. Bob asked him how badly he wanted to be deaf and if this professor knew of someone who could do that surgery to remove his hearing. This professor sent him to see someone who might help him out…a mental health counselor!!

That is cute story same things as whole my families wishes that they are deaf like I am… I feel same way as hearing as I know how they feels.
IF whose we all are deaf; Aren’t we pride to be deaf ? I AM!, but my family are not. My mom was jealouses of me sometime. It because she hate to heard my dad’s snore.
Hi You sign very well but too much facial expressions which is not necessary. My advice is for you is to be a natural signer like a professional one. Good luck
Holy (bleep), Ryan. Something’s wrong with your brain. You don’t even understand the Deaf Culture is all about. Ofc, you (Ryan) and that woman are offending the Deaf Community. I am disappointed in you!!!
Dallas, I am into deaf as involve and love my deaf culture very much. I don’t see any wrong in that movie. I wonder what is really hit you that the lady made you pissed off. I am curious… I don’t judge but I just want to know.
Great story and not gross. For everyone info, myhappyhands has shared on one of videos that she was hearing. My impression at first was, she was deaf. When I found out she was hearing, my respect stayed the same. She wants to be involved with the deaf community. Thats a wonderful thing she wants to do. If you are offended about myhappyhands, do the research first.
Just to clarify… I am not signing any certain “way” on purpose. I have a VERY expressive personality and it comes out when I sign, when I walk, when I talk… no matter what I do.
All I can do is share mine… and I happen to prefer ASL to English.
I do not mean to offend anyone in any way whatsoever. I tell my life’s stories honestly and from my heart. I don’t do it to impress anyone or to be famous, it’s just to share with the world.
I believe we are all beautiful and have great stories to tell
It’s very hard to try and stay positive about life and others while putting yourself in front of people to be judged. But, us vloggers made that choice to put ourselves “out there” -so I cannot really be upset about anyone that doesn’t “get me.”
So, all I can say is: please understand that I am not DOING any of these ASL vlogs for any reason other than a love for ASL, a love for joy, and a love for laughter.
HEY U! U KEWL, LADY! SAME LADY! VERY FUNNY,LOL! I LOVE THAT JOKE! MISS U. NO JOKE THAT I MISS THAT LADY!
