One of these, he put black berry on his ear and pretend like he is talking on the phone WHEN a person got in bathroom?? John Maucere, I used look up at you and until you gave me impressive enough why you’re afraid to use sign languages IN FRONT OF THOSE PEOPLE like I usually does.

Great video. Good message for deaf users. I hear they enjoy using it wherever they go to.
Someday, I will use a pager when I am on a travel so I can communicating with my hearing parents thru a relay service than the hotel phone.
I wonder whether this Sprint IP Wireless television commercial will be displayed at the full length of appx. three to four minutes length or not. Seems pretty long for average television commerical.
Is this Sprint IP Wireless commerical only available on Internet or what?
I seen actor John Maurice pretended to hear on the phone as a piece of hilarious mockery of deaf people using wireless device in hearing manners. Why not???
I also seen numerous deaf people playfully put their wireless devices on head to confuse other hearing people.

I have known John to mimic some deaf people habits, it’s not necesscarily meant that John would do the “phone to head” himself. It’s called acting. I use ASL in the public, I could see hearing people say, “look, sign language! awesome!” and point at us. It may be different in other deaf minds who think hearing people mock at us while they actually aren’t! Another 5 stars for John!

Keep that in mind, this is just a “”commercial”". Dont need to find some faults on this. Its just a commerical. I have seen many different “”hearing”" commericals that shows how stupid hearing people are but that s not what the commerical is trying to say. There are many hidden messages.
This commerical is about “” SPRINT RELAY/ BLACKBERRY” not about asl or being deaf. The hidden messages are that how valuable it is to have “Sprint Relay on our Blackberry” and it is accessible for deaf people. AWESOME !!! That s what we are suppose to focus on. What John did with Blackberry, I see myself doing that too!! *gulp*. I cant image myself without my lil’ Blackberry.
GO SPRINT !!!

Tar, you are proud to be yourself signing openly in the public bathroom. Good for you! Some deafies prefer not showing themselves… it doesn’t mean that they are embarassed. It is the same thing with hearies… I have caught hearies talking by themselves, then they stop themselves to pretend doing something… it doesn’t mean that they are embarassed.
Also someone mentioned that John didn’t wear a ring. So? It is not your business. My hubby doesn’t wear it. If he wants to wear it, it is fine with me. I sometimes don’t wear it. So what?

no i wont be nice because he put the camera down from the expo and look at that he did a lot of filmimg so he took one of the deaf man who was filming one of his own so he came down and took the camera off then hand it to him saying no camera on me mmmmmmm shame … happen at deaf expo . so why you all deaf bring the camera and see how he feel for that
