This is not funny. We’ve been fighting for our rights for way too long already, and hearing people selfishly oppressed us!
True, some of deaf doesn’t know how to use their right such as letting doctors, hospital, works force, and etc know that they are demanding for intrepreters. I had been telling deaf people to fight for their right and their response is “nah, it is okay. I understand they doesn’t have money to pay an interpreter.” while doctor had been driving 60k Corvette. (SIGH)
I feel this cartoon is not right and not funny.
In my opinion of this, most deaf people work hard to understand important discussions like schools and governments if they are either uneducated or educated. Also, those deaf people don’t read books much cuz all kinds of category of books don’t understand them if they are uneducated and schools or colleges don’t have an interpreters. They could be lost interesting and don’t know how to phrase something.
We do have some Deaf medical doctors. I think there are 6 of them now. They do demand their rights. Most uneducated deaf folks may not know of their rights; they need to be taught at the Deaf schools or Deaf Centers
!! I guess perhaps they went to the mainstreaming schools and they might not be told of their rights????

this is talk about some deaf or women should know that there are equal right but most of us dont face to use that.. that s why many world dont know anyting about us.. use your gut to scream for equal right than wait for someone to stand on stage.. how about you ? smile

Hello! well that was some what true it was also up to deaf but for me why should I scream? It will not impress to anyone. I would either trying to figure it out how to get across to them I did something one time to the hearing get their attention and they will get the message that I am not any lower than them. good idea? Some deaf don’t know? Hey real sad if they don’t? For me no will not let that to happen that is all. LOL!!! What did I threw? Oh my gosh! Very weird something that won’t hurt them. Just let them know that was all LOL!

That’s true, what percentage Deaf people fight for their rights, very small and most of Deaf people do not know how to use them…..That’s true, we have long long way to get our rights, Deaf rights. Time to wake up and smell coffee.
Everytime a Deaf, deaf, late deafened or hard-of-hearing person is held back from a promotion or brushed asside from something, he/she could do, it’s proof that this comic is wrong.
Not only that, oftentimes, the hearing community waits until after the Deaf person has completed a task (in my experience, I’d done something, in three months that a hearing man had failed to do in 15 years) before they demand the Deaf person cannot do it.
That’s ludicrous. I may be Deaf and Dumb, in their eyes but not hearing and lazy or hearing and stubborn in mine!!!
Seem no concept sense, this cartoon is not right drawer and offense us?!?!.
