Well I do not have a pager so I do not find this amusing,, but having a cell phone can pose to be a problem in certain parts of the USA, if there is no signal ( especially in the wide open spaces of Montana or Wyoming )
I think if every one had a global pager/cell service, no one would actually be out of range, cos this was satelite service

I don’t have a pager either but one day I will get. Hopefully. I would like choosing either Blackberry or Sidekick. Which one do u favor? I don’t know if one of them works perfectly.
Yeah, Home of Van Gogh, some deafies can’t afford a pager cuz it’s an expensive. They will have a difficult time without it.

I DO HAVE SIDEKICK 2 SOMETIMES NO SIGNAL WHEN I’M DRIVING ON THE ROAD WHICH PASTURE ALL THE WAY THERE’S NO SIGNAL UNTIL I GET IN TOWN HAVE SIGNAL SERVICE… SIGH… OH YEA KEEP AWAY FROM BB OR OTHERS. EXPECT MY2WAY IS SUCKS! ALWAYS PLMS WITH SIGNAL… SIDEKICKS 2 OR 3 ARE BETTER…
Let you all know that Sidekick isn’t good cuz of poor map coverage…Blackberry is good. It get better and very good map coverage..Smile
I just love Blackberry pager. I believe it has excellent map coverage. I came to realize that there are two groups,…one favors sidekick III pagers while other group favors Blackberry pagers. I have had Blackberry pager for about five years, and I have been happy with it. This cartoon is funny, trying to play games with him by saying in or out of the range, driving him nuts.
I dont care which SKII or SK III or Blackberry are better. I still have SK I. It works the best!
As long either SK BB can communicate with each others. When my SK is dead, then I may consider BB.
BB got better ranges than SKII or SKIII.

I don’t have any of the cell phones types. I would like to get one. This joke is a really understandable because where you are at and how far the range taken place.. This guy on the drawing that he is in the between ranges in and out… He gets really mad. He didn’t move where the range is in… Good one!!!
I have been using sidekick II. I am happy with it. Tmobile is getting better every year. First few years my sidekick II did not work well out in the rural county, but it works well now. Technology is improving. My sister switched from sidekick 1 to blackberry. She is not happy with blackberry. She said it is difficult to use the keyboard.
hey my husband use sk1 for five years now it broke no good .. so I got new sk 3 and it still good pass over a year when I live in country and it work pretty good .. some the way signal x not open area dang .. Cell Pager are Business everyone buy and like or not varsity the price contest the business sell to anyone with depend good credit or bad credit cost .. I notice many many deaf ppl addicted over sk or bb when I talk to person and hold on me I wait for their response back on me while they finish talk with pagers .. If I were in their shoes then I would ignore till I finish talk with person that where I learn to be Manner (Respect) after that finish then I can check my pager and answer it would be nice the way I learn lots from my parent who teach me to be MANNER .. smile hope u have a nice day …
I love this awesome “deaf” cartoon which surely reflect the realities of “what the pain in neck” pagers could be.
Sadly, the cell phone networks in Europe are more excellent and superior to America’s wireless networks.

i had tmobile sk2 and it drove me nutty cuz when i called anyone thur relay service and it dropped my calling through relay service for a couple of times so i switched my mobile service to at&t mobility(formerly cingular) which has a better coverage in usa and i use PDA(8125) and i have no problem with not dropping my talking through the relay service. i am happy with it yet i look forward to having a video share(video calling) program on my next updated pda with front built in camera that is coming up soon.
Its not new thing because hearing people use regular cell phones have same problem like pagers. I wish to have blackberry seems better choice over sk2 or sk3.
Not many people knows ogo pager that under At&t is the worst ever I had like the picture above. Now they dont make it anymore. Whew!
I wonder if Treo 700wx is better?? I know it is smaller than BB or SK, but it may have more features.
i remember when i use old pager model 900 in email “my2way.com”. really happy to use first time. later i had hard time to wait for sent out but keep X as fail. there was no info bar. But worth to began to use. Right now all over upgrade SK3 or BB. I happy with SK2 then SK3 since.

I use to have it not anymore why cuz just like stonecold John3:16 say I use to have sk2 not anymore do u know why ?? The boxer dog doest like it sound so dog crab it and crunch as damaged we doest have anymore only way safe place inside the house that what he does the same way.
Sometime can be true that deaf people have had been angry on sidekick. I have no idea why and what going on with them as they should think twice.
I been had sidekick I and II for long time but it been problem with range. So, I decided to stop use sidekick pagers. When I got new Blackberry (BB) pager, I love BB pager better than sidekick pager because it has blackberry instant message and google maps show where is next directions plus show where is store, banks, airports, parking, bars, movies, resturants include their phone numbers ready in google maps. Plus, Blackberry pager is good coverage than sidekick pager.
I hope that people will buy blackberry pagers than sidekick pagers.
It’s true. My friend was unhappy with his sk3 because it was always out of range in his small town for few days after bought sk3. He threw his sk3 in the lake, but I swam into the lake and got sk3. I kept it and sell it on ebay for 100 bucks. I got money from stupid buyer. I knew he/she would be pissed off with sk3 for not working! haha!
Tom, that was not nice to rip people off… shame on you.
It does that to me as well but Im not complaining. Just as long as I can contact my friends who are either hearing or deaf. yes, it is a pain in the neck but its better than nothing. I learn to be patient and wait – this is what I do. I shut off the sidekick 2 off and wait for few minutes then turn on and it usually work right away. For those of you that have problem, it could be the area that has no tower or you’re in the country area that has many mountains or not enough towers connections. I have no problem in my area which is Conn state. Sorry to hear about some of you having problem.
I need your help me Where/which can I find An Angel pager? I don’t like Evil pager.
Are these the best, Blackberry Sprint Treo 700wx, Blackberry 8703E, and Blackberry 8800 Curve?? I need to your coments asap!
