Your story reminds me of when I was baby after my mom gave birth. My parents were hearing too. Now they are gone. But I became deaf when I was 6 mos old from spinal mengitis. My parents said same thing what you said “What we do with our deaf daughter” and “Send her to deaf school?” I love your story to make me to think about my past..

My parents felt the same thing. My parents got a surprise news from a doctor when he told them I became a deaf and can’t walk after I was born. Afterwards, my parents had to do something with me immediately. They sent me to few special programs.

That is good ones but that is alright. Good thing my parents already know how to sign to talk with me. My mom does know mostly of sign languages; my dad normally; my brother; little bit; my sister most of time used figerspelling and sign. I got to used to with hearing families I thankful GOD for my families that are signing for me to understand.
